• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new terminal of Chandigarh airport. This new terminal will handle both domestic as well as international flights and will be operated and maintained by Chandigarh International Airport Ltd (CHIAL). Punjab and Haryana state governments have equal stake in CHIAL.


• India Test captain Virat Kohli recently acquired stake in which franchisee team of Indian Premier Tennis League (IPTL) to become a co-owner of UAE Royals, UAE Royals will be led by Swiss great Roger Federer. The UAE leg of the league will be held from December 14 to 16 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
