Subject : IBPS RRB Highest and Lowest Marks, Interview Experience 

The IBPS RRB ( Regional Rural Banks), examination was completed in the month of September, 2014. Now all the Status as well as the Marks are given and now the Interview selection process started for the banks for selecting based on the merit marks for whom are having highest marks. The IBPS RRB Interview experience Questions with Answers for the Officers as well as Assistants.

According to the survey in the Andhra Pradesh State, the state is having around
IBPS RRB-III PO cut off marks : Above 80 Marks,
IBPS RRB-III Clerk cut off marks : Above 88 Marks.

According to the survey in the Andhra Pradesh State, the state is having around
IBPS RRB-III PO Highest Marks : Around 125 - 138 Marks,
IBPS RRB-III Clerk cut off marks : Around 165 - 182 Marks.

  • The Trans-Pacific Partnership of 12 Pacific Rim countries landmark free trade agreement was reached that will cover almost 36% of global economic output.
  • Union Health Ministry on 5 October 2015 launched the second phase of ‘Mission Indradhanush’, which aims to achieve fully immunizing more than 89 lakh children. This launch was done after achieving huge success in the first phase of the mission. The second phase of ‘Mission Indradhanush’ has been launched in 352 districts.
  • Writer Nayantara Sahgal announced returning her ‘Sahitya Akademi Award’ to the Union Govt. in protest against the “failure of the state to safeguard Indian cultural diversity”. Sahgal, a niece of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, had received this prestigious award in 1986 year.
  • Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its nod to establish 3 new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). These 3 AIIMS will be established at Nagpur (Maharashtra), Manglagiri (Andhra Pradesh) and Kalyani in West Bengal. They will be established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana with the cost nearly 5,000 crore rupees.

  • Overseas rupee-denominated bonds are also known as ‘Masala bonds’.
  • The RBI has allowed these bonds so as to reduce the currency risk associated with foreign borrowings.
  • Companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs) will be able to raise overseas rupee bonds.
  • These bonds must have a minimum maturity of five years.
  • Under the automatic route, companies can raise up to $750 million per annum. Cases beyond this limit will require prior approval.

RBI Highlights of the 4th Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement

– Repo rate cut by 50 bps to 6.75%

RBI notified new norms pertaining to change in ownership of borrowing entities. These new norms allow banks to upgrade credit facilities extended to borrowing entities upon a change in ownership, so long as the ownership has been changed outside ‘Strategic Debt Restructuring Scheme’. This change will give banks more flexibility to bring in a change in ownership of borrowing entities which are under stress.

CSO released estimates of GDP for April-June quarter of 2015-16
Highlights of the CSO estimates:
  • GDP at constant (2011-12) prices in Q1 of 2015-16 is estimated at 27.13 lakh crore rupees as against 25.35 lakh crore rupees in Q1 of 2014-15, showing a growth rate of 7.0 percent. In terms of GVA it is 7.1 percent.
  • The economic activities which registered growth of over 7 percent in Q1 of 2015-16 over Q1 of 2014-15 are manufacturing, trade, hotels and transport & communication and services related to broadcasting and financial, insurance, real estate and professional services.
  • Growth in other areas: agriculture, forestry and fishing (1.9), mining and quarrying (4.0), electricity, gas, water supply & other utility services (3.2), construction and public administration, defence (6.9) and other services (2.7).
  • Gross Capital Formation (GCF) rate, a barometer for investments, continued to decline. It was down to 27.8 per cent from 29.2 per cent in April–June 2014.

PSLV C-30:


PSLV Successfully Launches India's Multi Wavelength Space Observatory ASTROSAT, India’s 1st dedicated satellite for astronomy research launched. For the first time US commercial satellites were launched by an Indian rocket, the PSLV. Spire Global is the name of the San Francisco-based entity whose four nano-satellites were launched successfully.

The scientific objectives of ASTROSAT mission:

a) Understand high energy processes in binary star systems containing neutron stars and black holes,

b) Estimate magnetic fields of neutron stars,

c) Study star birth regions and high energy processes in star systems lying beyond our galaxy,

d) Detect new briefly bright X-ray sources in the sky and

e) Perform a limited deep field survey of the Universe in the ultraviolet region.

  • CSO released estimates of GDP for April-June quarter of 2015-16
Highlights of the CSO estimates:
  • GDP at constant (2011-12) prices in Q1 of 2015-16 is estimated at 27.13 lakh crore rupees as against 25.35 lakh crore rupees in Q1 of 2014-15, showing a growth rate of 7.0 percent. In terms of GVA it is 7.1 percent.
  • The economic activities which registered growth of over 7 percent in Q1 of 2015-16 over Q1 of 2014-15 are manufacturing, trade, hotels and transport & communication and services related to broadcasting and financial, insurance, real estate and professional services.
  • Growth in other areas: agriculture, forestry and fishing (1.9), mining and quarrying (4.0), electricity, gas, water supply & other utility services (3.2), construction and public administration, defence (6.9) and other services (2.7).
  • Gross Capital Formation (GCF) rate, a barometer for investments, continued to decline. It was down to 27.8 per cent from 29.2 per cent in April–June 2014.
